LATAM appears as the most punctual airline in the most recent ranking by Cirium. With the recognition, it's already been 10 months leading in the punctuality category. The company has been dealing well with the pandemic, which has greatly affected the airline industry, forced to take drastic measures to keep it functioning.
However, in November, LATAM already returns with 90% of its domestic supply (ASK) compared to the same month in 2019 (before the pandemic). Today, there are 541 flights a day in Brazil. Another achievement of the company was to serve more than the 44 airports it already served before the pandemic. Today there are 47 destinations served in the country.
To prepare the ranking, Cirium evaluates commercial flights from around the world that arrived on time, with a maximum of 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Grupo LATAM also leads the punctuality ranking of all companies in Latin America.
In addition, the airline was recognized as the best airline in South America at the Skytrax World Airline Awards and won the “COVID-19 Aeronautical Excellence Award”.
