During an assembly that counted with massive participation of pilots and flight attendants, it was decided that the category will go into serious condition from the next 29th. The assembly of the National Union of Aeronauts (SNA) took place on Wednesday (24).
The SNA decided, out of respect for air transport users, that the stoppage will affect 50% of the crew per day, while the other 50% will remain working.
The category seeks salary readjustments that cover the inflation of the last two years, using the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) as a basis. However, airlines presented adjustment proposals far below that. In addition, the companies do not guarantee the maintenance of the current clauses of the agreement in case a new agreement has not been closed by the base date, December 1st.
In a statement, the SNA says that companies have not only been registering a gradual recovery, but are projecting a future growth that does not match the wage flattening of the category. He also highlighted that the category did not stop working at any time in view of the pandemic.
