Embraer was recognized with the Trophy for Transparency of Companies with the Most Transparent Financial Statements in Brazil. The hybrid ceremony between in person and online brought the 20th award of the type to the Brazilian manufacturer.
It is worth remembering that Embraer was not only elected 5 times in the historical series, as the Transparency Trophy is in its 25th edition and is known as the national “Accounting Oscar”.
In order for the company to compete for the Award, it is not necessary to register, but it is necessary to follow the best accounting practices, in an effort to present the most objective set of information to the market. For the award, the analysis of more than 2000 financial statements is carried out by students from the Masters and Doctoral courses at FEA/USP/FIPECAFI.
Among the criteria for reaching the winners are: the quality and degree of information contained in the statements and explanatory notes, the transparency of the information provided, the quality and consistency of the management report and adherence to accounting principles. The award is for the year 2020.
