The new destination operated by Gol, from Congonhas to Bonito, non-stop, in addition to being very relevant for the company's regional aviation, represents a milestone in the sustainability of Brazilian aviation. Flight G3-1492 is Brazil's second carbon neutral route. The first flight on this route took place on the afternoon of Thursday, 2. There will be two round-trip flights a week, non-stop, on Thursdays and Sundays.

The flights will be operated with Boeing 737-700, with capacity for up to 138 passengers. Gol announced the carbon neutral project with climatech MOSS, one of the largest environmental carbon credit platforms in the world. This first flight generated 0.09723 carbon credits, neutralizing total carbon emissions both in the outward and in the return leg.
