Despite the gradual recovery that airlines have been showing, the main Brazilian airlines (Gol, Latam and Azul) posted losses in the third quarter of this year. The negative impact is still due to the covid-19 pandemic, which kept the number of flights reduced compared to the period before the crisis.
Airlines' expenses were impacted by the increase in the main costs for the sector. Fuel increased by 56.6% in the quarter. The exchange rate was also 2.8.
