The cargo version of the Boeing 777, the Boeing 777F, has received another order for 4 units from China Airlines, according to an announcement by the companies made today, January 27.
The planes are expected to join Boeing's other planes in China Airlines' fleet to take advantage of the cargo market demand that continues to grow.
The Boeing 777F is the largest twin-engine freighter in operation in the world, with a range of 9200 km, which allows for fewer refueling stops, and a maximum load of 102 tons. These attributes guarantee a lower cost per trip.
“The 777 Freighter has played a critical role in our efforts to maintain profitability during the pandemic, and these additional planes will be an integral part of our long-term growth strategy,” said China Airlines President Hsieh Su-Chien.
