Amid a lot of tension and with more than 100,000 Russian troops on the border, Ukraine's tourist board is trying to encourage more travelers in the country, launching the slogan "Keep calm and visit Ukraine".
In a statement, the government says there is no reason to panic, as the situation appears to be under control. Ukraine attracts thousands of visitors to the historic cities of Kiev and Odessa every year. At the same time, in an official note, the government says that “there is little positive news in the information space today”.
Airlines that operate routes to Ukraine have already reduced the number of flights and stopped keeping planes overnight in the country.
The nation's security is threatened, as Russia has difficult demands to be met. the US and NATO expressed support for Ukraine, sending troops there, increasing tension for tourists.
