A video posted to Telegram showed a Russian MiG 31K Foxhound fighter jet carrying the Kinzhal ground attack missile on Monday.

It cannot be confirmed whether the weaponry was actually the Kinzhal, but it is quite possible as the fighter has already been seen carrying the missile with nuclear capabilities.

The plane was landing at the Kaliningrad naval air base on the Baltic Sea, between the Polish-Lithuanian border. This base usually does not have the MiG 31K. Most planes based there are Su-27 and Su-24 models, with some Su-30SM and Su-35S being implemented.

The MiG-31K with the missile could be a warning to NATO, as Russia is against Ukraine joining the military alliance.

According to military analyst Rob Lee, if the mighty Kinzhal were launched from Kaliningrad airspace, major Western European capitals could be hit within 7 to 10 minutes.

The Kinzhal ballistic missile can only be launched from very high and fast planes, as is the case of the MiG 31 K, which is capable of reaching Mach 3. Russia has only 10 to 20 aircraft of this model prepared to carry the Kinzhal. This suggests how seriously Russia is preparing for possible military action in Ukraine.

The Kh-47 Kinzhal ("Dagger") missile has 33 times more power than the Fat Man atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
