There are currently 5 aircraft of the Embraer E190 LR model. In an expansion movement, the company will acquire 4 more used jets of this model, of which three will be delivered this year and one next year.

German Airways is flying Embraer E190 jets as a wet leasing provider for prestigious airlines such as easyJet, Finnair, Polish Airlines LOT and Air France.

We expect growth in our industry and see a great need for our 100-seat jets. We can benefit in the market with our excellent reputation, which we work hard to earn, even during the crisis: we are known in the industry as a very reliable and, above all, flexible, customer-oriented, knowledgeable service provider”, said Maren Wolters, managing director of German Airways.

The Embraer E190 can carry between 98 and 118 passengers, depending on configuration. The jet is highly regarded by customers on regional routes.

The German company has not yet informed the origin of the aircraft.
