The concessionaire that manages Brasília Airport, Inframerica, predicts that 230,000 people should be transported through the airport during the carnival week, which runs from February 25th to March 3rd, with around 1,650 takeoffs and landings.

The flow of people at the airport on this holiday is expected to be 39% higher than seen in 2021, but 15% lower than in 2020, before the pandemic was declared.

However, the pandemic is not over yet. Therefore, travelers are instructed to continue to wear masks and maintain care against covid.

The busiest forecast is on February 25, from 5 pm to 10 pm and on March 2, from 5 pm to 10 pm, when 37,000 passengers are expected on each of these days.

As of press time, only one extra flight is planned.
