Embraer reported that Eve, the company responsible for eVTOL, completed Concept of Operations (Conops) in the United Kingdom. The project was developed in partnership with other experienced aviation companies and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) through a sandbox.

This study makes it possible to define the feasibility of Urban Air Mobility technologies, as well as assist the regulatory body with regulatory issues and certification of innovative technologies. Conops' focus was on a network of vertiports from Heathrow Airport to London City Airport.

“The London Study and Concept of Operation provides a tangible example for the British aviation authority to better understand the goals of urban air mobility and support the development of future regulations,” said Eve Urban Air Mobility CEO André Stein.

Last week, Eve also participated in a Conops for Urban Air Mobility in the city of Miami.
