The air services agreements with Rwanda, Angola and Qatar were signed on August 14, 2019, September 24, 2019 and October 28, 2019, respectively. The agreements provide for the operation of air services between the countries.
On April 5th, the government sent to the congress the renewal of these agreements, which are important for increasing the ties of friendship between the countries involved.
The new text of the Agreement with Rwanda and Angola has 26 articles. As for the agreement with Qatar, 28 articles. In general, the texts deal with the rights to fly over the territory without landing, to make stops without commercial purposes and to make stops at the points of the routes specified in the route table.
The agreements also make it possible to appoint one or more companies to operate the services with due remuneration (aeronautical tariffs, customs charges and prices).
This type of agreement is important for the development of international aviation.
