Sidnei Piva, owner of Itapemirim, had his assets blocked in a decision on Monday (18). The judge, João de Oliveira Rodrigues, said that the decision has a preventive purpose regarding the possible dilapidation of the assets in flagrant detriment to creditors.

The Judge highlights that Piva has not complied with the court's orders, since the Itapemirim Group has not complied with any determination of the company's judicial recovery plan. Thus, the judge postponed the meeting of creditors for up to 20 days, counting from the blocking decision (18).

Although Sidnei Piva was removed from the board on March 22, he reportedly still has access to the group's accounts. Suspicious financial movements were noticed in the company. Itapemirim's creditors fear that the R$35 million allocated to the airline will not be returned. The judge ruled that Piva must demonstrate how the airline's foundation money was used. Itapemirim accumulates debts of at least 250 million reais in the judicial recovery.

Piva has 5 days to explain the sale of ITA Transportes Aéreas to Bafauker Consultoria, which took place last week. There is very little information available on the internet about this company in the Federal District.

The Company's CEO, Adalberto Bogsan, told the portal Panrotas that the sale of the airline was concluded for Bafauker, but did not go into details. EXM Partners, administrator of the judicial reorganization of Itapemirim, questioned the sale of ITA and asked that the negotiation be barred.
