According to a statement from the company itself, All Nippon Airways (ANA) will return to operations with the Airbus A380. The giant will fly between Tokyo and Hawaii.
The route already exists, but is operated by other aircraft models. In addition to being operated by the giant, the frequency of the route will be increased.
Until June 30, ANA will offer four frequencies per week in both directions. From July 1 to October 29, ANA will operate two more weekly flights on the route, operated by the largest passenger plane in the world, with capacity for up to 520 passengers.
According to the company, the return of the A380 is due to the increase in demand for flights in this destination. Added to this is the fact that this is the busiest time of the year.
Three ANA A380s have a special painting alluding to Hawaii: One is painted in shades of blue, referring to the sky, the second, in shades of emerald, is inspired by the waters and the third is in orange tones, representing the sunset.
