Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) announced, on Wednesday (12), that the return of in-flight service on domestic flights may take place from May 22.
Following the authorization, Azul announced today (16) that, after two years, it will resume in-flight services as soon as possible (22 May). Meal options will differ depending on the flight time.
The company highlighted that passengers will have to continue wearing masks when they are not eating, as determined by Anvisa.
“We were excited to be able to resume our traditional and much-loved in-flight service,” said Jason Ward, vice president of People and Customers at Azul. Also according to him, vaccination and the consequent drop in cases of covid-19 allowed Azul to resume services.
In addition to the on-board service, Azul will open the Azul Lounge at Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas (SP). The company will also reopen the Kids Space, inside the Lounge.
