According to data from the International Air Transport Association, Qatar has become the second company in the world in RPK (revenue per passenger kilometer). The company had a 26% growth compared to 2020. These numbers made Qatar Airways take a 6% share of the world market.

The airline sector grew by only 1% in the period 2021 compared to 2020. Qatar Airways celebrated growth well above average. During the entire period of the pandemic, Qatar was the only one that flew consistently. The company has increased its portfolio to 145 destinations, the largest in the region.

Qatar sees growth as a result of this uninterrupted work. The company has also focused heavily on destinations in Africa, with the addition of new routes on the continent. In addition, the United States was also a recurring destination, with 12 cities and 100 flights served per week currently.

The airline also participated in the Arabian Travel Market 2022, which took place from May 9 to 12 in Dubai. The Qsuite was touted as the best executive seat in the world.
