GRU Airport registered a movement of 2.51 million passengers during the month of April at São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos.

1.71 million passengers were on domestic flights in April. The daily average of takeoffs and landings was 592. On international flights, there were 798 thousand passengers in the month.

For comparison purposes, in the same month of 2019, 3.3 million passengers were transported, 2.16 on domestic flights and 1.15 on international flights.

Compared to the previous month (March 2022), there was a drop, as 2.66 million passengers were transported. The small decrease observed is probably due to the end of the summer season in Brazil.

Currently, 31 airlines operate at the airport, serving various destinations, 38 of which are outside the country.

The cargo terminal (Teca) registered 25.7 thousand tons of products transported in April 2022. In April 2019, 48.5 thousand tons were transported. In the previous month (March 2022), 28 thousand tons of products were transported.
