Two more Boeing 737-8 MAXs will arrive in the Aerolíneas Argentinas fleet in July. The new planes are expected to increase the amount of MAX to 7 units in the fleet. The aircraft registrations are LV-KEU and LV-KEJ.

The first Boeing 737-8 MAX arrived to the company's fleet in November 2017. Later, other aircraft of the model would arrive to compose the company's fleet. However, the crash of Ethiopian Flight 302 delayed the schedule, as the Argentine aeronautical authority accompanied the FAA and suspended the model's operations in the country.

The MAX had its recertification in December 2020, with the return of its operations at the Argentine company in March 2021. With that, the company is able to receive the new units.

In addition to the arrival of the MAX, sources close to the company say that, along with an Airbus A330-200 ex-TAP, which replaces one of the aircraft recently withdrawn from service, the company will recover the 82 aircraft it had before the pandemic.
