Latam is expected to resume the Fortaleza-Miami route on July 25, according to the company itself. It will be one flight a week. Tickets for this route will be available on the company's website next week.

This route has not been taken since April 2020, when it was interrupted because of the coronavirus pandemic. Latam also informs that investments in routes continue.

“LATAM remains attentive to the growth in demand. In 2021 we have already launched two new routes in the state and now we announce the resumption of international operations. This was only possible thanks to the company's sustainable recovery planning associated with the state government's competitive policies”, says Aline Mafra, director of Sales and Marketing at LATAM Brazil.

The aircraft scheduled to perform the weekly flight is the Boeing 787-9. The plane, with capacity for up to 300 passengers divided into 3 classes (30 in Premium Business, 57 in Economy and 213 in Economy), will depart on Mondays at 2:15 pm and land at the destination at 8:55 pm, local time. Departing from Miami, the flight will also depart on Mondays at 11:00 pm and land at 7:05 am the following day, also at local times.

However, as of August 3, the flight will depart from Fortaleza on Wednesdays at 2:15 pm and land at the destination at 8:55 pm (local time), local time. Departing Miami, the flight will depart on Wednesdays at 11:00 pm (local time) and land at the destination at 7:05 am (local time), the following day.

Domestic flights will also have their frequency increased from July 2022. In addition, routes that were suspended must be resumed.
