Eve and Porsche Consulting partner for eVTOL logistics

Eve, the Embraer subsidiary responsible for eVTOL, announced an agreement with Porsche Consulting for its electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. In addition to working together on the logistics process, the companies will work on manufacturing and the supply chain.
With the knowledge between the automotive industry and the aeronautical industry, the agreement closed yesterday (31) seeks to make the eVTOL urban mobility operational chain viable.
“We have the opportunity to shape the future of mobility together. We share the same values, and with our knowledge as an industry-leading company, we will be able to question and challenge existing logistics and manufacturing concepts,” said Rudy Leutz, CEO of Porsche Consulting.
Several solutions will be needed to meet the operational needs of eVTOL, using more agile and sustainable technologies.
“We will redesign the industrialization concept for this new aircraft, based on the highest levels of efficiency, quality, safety and customer centricity”, he added.
