Congonhas airport concession auction will take place on August 18

The National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) marked, this Monday, 6th, the concession auction of the 7th round of airports.
In all, there will be three blocks, with 15 airports involved, the most attractive being Congonhas airport, in the south of São Paulo.
The auction will take place at B3, in São Paulo, the largest block being formed by the airports of Congonhas (SP), Campo Grande (MS), Corumbá (MS), Ponta Porã (MS), Santarém (PA), Marabá (PA) , Carajás (PA), Altamira (PA), Uberlândia (MG), Uberaba (MG) and Montes Claros (MG). The minimum bid is just over 740 million reais and the expected total investment value is 11.6 billion.
Another lot, called “general aviation” is made up of the airports of Campo de Marte (SP) and Jacarepaguá (RJ). The lot has a minimum bid of 141.4 million, with an investment value of 1.7 billion reais.
Finally, there is a lot that includes the airports of Belém (PA) and Macapá (AP), with a minimum bid of 56.9 million reais and total investments of 1.9 billion reais. The same bidder may purchase all three blocks.
“With the auction, we will ensure more connectivity through air transport, with comfort, safety and technology for all passengers, in addition to generating approximately 100,000 new jobs”, said Marcelo Sampaio, Minister of Infrastructure.
