Latam will exceed capacity observed before the pandemic later this month
According to data from Latam, its domestic offer of ASK seats in June should be 102% compared to the same month in 2019. The number of destinations served is 50 in total, compared to 44 before the pandemic.
International routes should also have a big recovery, but still lower than that observed before the pandemic; will be 60% of your ASK seat offer.
For July 2022, the high season, Latam's expectations are also good, since the country is in a moment of recovery in air travel. For the period, 3,000 domestic and international flights are scheduled. In the domestic market, the increase in flights takes place in destinations in the Northeast of Brazil, departing from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Fortaleza.
In the international market, the increase in flights in July from Brazil will be to Santiago, Buenos Aires, Miami and Orlando. In addition, routes that were previously interrupted will resume, such as direct flights between Porto Alegre and Lima and Fortaleza-Miami. The company should also open national and international routes.
