Ireland's operator, Ryanair, is seeing its passenger numbers increase sharply. Despite the chaos in European aviation, the low-cost airline carried 15.9 million passengers in June 2022, 7% more than its last best pre-pandemic figure, recorded in August 2019.

The number of passengers carried by Ryanair is rising month after month. Since February, the company has already exceeded the amount of traffic corresponding to 2019, before the pandemic. In May, 15.4 million passengers were transported.

To give you an idea of ""how large this number is, many European companies do not carry this amount of passengers all year round. In addition, Ryanair's operations are suspended in Ukraine, that is, this amount of passengers was without even serving its entire pre-pandemic network.

Historically, the number of low-cost passengers transported grows in July and August. In this way, the company can break records again in these months.

In addition, another impressive number is the occupancy of Ryanair's planes. As of June 2022, that number has reached 95%. The number draws attention, since it is almost impossible for any company to reach 100%, as that would mean selling all the seats on all its flights.
