Embraer announced its deliveries for the period comprising the second quarter of 2022. In all, 32 jets were delivered, 21 of which were executive and 11 commercial.

There were 8 units of the E175 and 3 units of the E195-E2 among the commercial aircraft. As for the executives, 2 Phenom 100 were delivered, 10 of the Phenom 300, 5 Praetor 500 and 4 Praetor 600.

The order backlog in the period was 17.8 billion dollars, around 96 billion reais. The value is 12% higher than that recorded in the same period last year and is the highest since 2018. In the year, 46 deliveries were made in total, 17 of which were commercial aircraft and 29 executive.

This backlog does not include an order for 20 E195-E2s valued at $1.56 billion placed by Porter Airlines during the Farnborough Airshow. In this case, Porter Airlines planes will be included in the 3t22 order backlog. However, the portfolio already includes an order for 8 E175s by Alaska Air Group, which was announced last week.

The delivery of the 32 jets is encouraging because it represents a turnaround for Embraer, which showed only 14 jets delivered in the first quarter of this year. However, the number is still slightly lower than the total of 34 deliveries from the same period last year.
