Lufthansa Cargo's first Airbus A321F freighter was very well received. The first flight of the plane was very positive and had the approval of customers. The company liked it enough to announce that it will introduce more planes of the model from October 2022.

In addition, the company says that more planes of the model are expected to start operating soon, with two more units of the model expected to join the company's fleet in the first six months of 2023.

The model in question is under conversion in Singapore. The aircraft has a payload capacity of 28 tons on two decks, with 14 pallets on the main deck and ten on the lower deck.

The planes will substantially increase the company's cargo capacity on medium-range routes. Lufthansa Cargo has plans for Airbus to fly on the subsidiary Lufthansa CityLine.

In addition, the company will add another Boeing 777F by the end of this month. The company uses the Boeing War Horse for longer-range routes.
