Airports in Brazil are among the most punctual in the world

According to information from the Ministry of Tourism, Brazilian airports are taking a very important place among the world's airports. Punctuality is a highlight in Brazil. In August alone, on average 92% of flights from four major Brazilian airports were punctual or delayed by a maximum of 15 minutes.
The Official Aviation Guide (OAG) list ranked the most punctual airports, collecting data from 1200 airports around the world.
According to ANAC data, more than 7.6 million passengers were registered in the month of July alone, being the best month for the sector in the year, in addition to being the best month in three years, representing the recovery in which we are living.
Senador Petrônio Portella Airport, in Piauí, Mário Ribeiro Airport, in Minas Gerais, Santarém, Pará, and Londrina, Paraná, were highlighted in the list, ranking 15th, 17th, 18th and 21st, respectively.
The most punctual airport in the world is Matsumoto, Japan, with almost 99% punctuality.
In addition, the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) showed that the airports of Congonhas and Guarulhos, in São Paulo, are among the 5 busiest in Latin America and the Caribbean. The airports handled about 1.45 million and 1.2 million passengers in June, respectively.
Air passenger traffic in Latin America and the Caribbean reached 91.1% of its pre-pandemic levels. The results also show that domestic flights recovered first.
