As a result of roadblocks and highways at various points across Brazil, airports could run out of fuel for this holiday. In addition, air transport may be impacted in general.

This is the alert issued by the Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR). If the demonstrations do not have an end, the scenario may even be that operations are unfeasible, including essential activities, such as the transport of organs for transplantation and other loads.

Demonstrations of this type have been taking place since Sunday (30) at night. According to the most up-to-date data from the PRF, the country has 267 points of demonstration, 42 of which are concentration points (without obstruction of the flow), 136 interdictions (partial stoppage) and 89 blocks (total impediment to the passage of vehicles). In addition, 306 points were cleared.

ABEAR makes itself available to the authorities to assist in the necessary measures to minimize problems and recommends that passengers move in advance and update themselves on the situation of the roads they will use.
