Missing FAB plane is found in Santa Catarina

Last Friday, 04, a Brazilian Air Force aircraft disappeared in Santa Catarina, near Florianópolis. The wreckage was located on the morning of this Saturday, 5th. The Curitiba Air Rescue Coordination Center was responsible for the search, along with the Santa Catarina Fire Department.
The aircraft, a T-25 Universal, was performing a training flight with two crew on board at the time of the accident. There were no survivors. The FAB expressed condolences in a note and stated that it will provide assistance to the victims' families and that the causes of the accident will be investigated.
“The Brazilian Air Force regrets to inform the death of the two soldiers who were aboard the T-25 Universal aircraft of the Air Force Academy (AFA) – which crashed this Friday afternoon (O4/11) in Santa Catarina and located at the end of Saturday morning (05/11). The crew carried out a training flight,” the FAB said in a statement.
