Airlines face difficult times in Brazil, such as currency devaluation and constant increases in fuel prices. Azul is also facing major problems, despite its strong recovery recorded last year.

For example, the average price of fuel rose from R$3.95 to R$5.50 per liter, registering an increase of 115% in three years.

In addition, Azul has costs of RS 4 billion in aircraft leases due in 2024 and other debts that add up to more than 5.5 billion reais by 2025.

Reliable sources claim that the airline hired an American consulting firm called Seabury
