Embraer and Ocean Explorer team up to use the Beacon platform on helicopters

Embraer and Brazilian helicopter operator Ocean Explorer have teamed up to use Embraer's platform to connect professionals and maintenance resources to achieve the fastest return of aircraft to service, called Beacon.
The Beacon platform has been gaining ground, with more and more aircraft operators using the service. However, Ocean Explorer is the first helicopter operator to use the tool created by Embraer-X. Ocean Explorer operates the Airbus ACH160.
“Beacon will always have space between different types of operators to facilitate maintenance interactions, leverage contextualized communication around these events and make workflows simpler”, said Marco Cesarino, Head of the Beacon program, referring to the fact that the platform works for any customer on any aircraft.
