This Thursday (9), Embraer announces that it closed an agreement for a credit line in the amount of US$ 200 million (R$ 1.03 billion). The objective is to finance purchases made with suppliers in the USA.
The operation will be carried out by Citibank, with a guarantee from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), the country's official export credit agency.
The document also guarantees that the credit line with EXIM and Citibank will support Embraer in diversifying its credit operations in the international aviation market, providing the company with additional financing options and improving its loan profile.
“This credit operation will help us to further improve the debt profile, in addition to strengthening the long-term relationship with American suppliers. Diversifying credit operations and seeking new opportunities in our main markets are fundamental steps to increase the efficiency of our financial operations”, says Antonio Carlos Garcia, CFO of Embraer.
