Even after the 737 MAX received the necessary certifications to fly again, the second largest aviation market, which is China, took a while to resume flights with the model.

However, Boeing CEO David Calhoun stated that all airlines that acquired the MAX have already returned to service with the jet.

“In fact, starting this month, all MAX operators in China have returned to operating their planes in service,” said the CEO.

China was the last market to release the jet's return, in 2021. Even so, companies gradually returned with their flights using the narrow-body aircraft only earlier this year.

Despite having returned to using the jet, Chinese companies have not yet resumed deliveries of new MAX.

“Ultimately, our customers will determine when they are ready to receive their planes, we will be there to support them,” said David Calhoun.
