With the goal of delivering 720 planes in the year 2023, Airbus delivered 72 commercial planes in June, which represents an increase of 20% compared to the same month last year.

With that, the accumulated for the year is 316 aircraft delivered, up 6% compared to last year, say sources in the sector. During the period, 25 A220-300s, three A319s, 106 A320neos, 147 A321neos, two A330-200s, 12 A330-300s, 16 A350-900s and five A350-1000s were delivered during the period.

Airbus has not commented on this as it has yet to release its official data.

Airbus deliveries have been plagued by the supply chain issues plaguing the industry. However, a more positive pattern can already be observed, so that the manufacturer maintains the forecast of 720 deliveries this year.

In addition, Airbus wants to increase the production pace of its most popular jet family, the A320neo family, to 65 units per month by the end of 2024.

Airbus will release official data for the first half on July 26th.
