The Airbus A320ceo has always been a very successful jet, but it was overtaken by its larger capacity sibling, the A321neo, which reached 5,163 aircraft on order.

The original A320 had the European manufacturer's most successful aircraft rank, but in June it fell behind, when the A321neo reached 400 more units on order. That's because Airbus received a large order for 375 aircraft from IndiGo and others during the Paris Air Show. In the month of May, there were 4,675 orders.

Airlines are looking for this aircraft a lot, as it has an unbeatable range. The A321neo has capacity for up to 244 passengers. The range of the A321LR version is 4,000 nautical miles, while the A321XLR, which has not yet entered into operation, has a range of 4,700 nautical miles, enough for routes that currently require widebodies.

Airbus has already delivered 1078 A321neos, which, so far, have no competitors delivering the same.
