The Campinas region can be proud of a great job at its international airport: In an audit by ANAC it reached 223 points out of a total of 230 possible regarding SGSO (operational security management system).
ANAC's audit took place last week and had 5 auditors.
The implementation of the SGSO standards was considered to be 97 percent effective (that is, how much adherence to the standards was achieved) and the effectiveness (that is, how effective the measures adopted are) reached no less than 99 percent.
This is great news for the airport and the region.
It is a pity, however, that economic difficulties are affecting the administration of VCP, since the Ministry of Infrastructure has just authorized the holding of a new bid for the concession of the airport to be operated by a new company starting next year. .
Let us at least hope that, in the event that a new dealership is confirmed, safety standards are maintained.
