The Russian S-500 anti-aircraft missile system, an innovation and expansion of the S-400's capacity, has had a very positive impact and has caused "terror" in Russia's potential enemies, according to specialized publications.
The system is capable of operating and launching various types of missiles for specific applications, from shooting down highly maneuverable enemy aircraft close to the launchers to dropping ballistic warheads when they re-enter the atmosphere.
The system can also be used for attack, such as destroying enemy ships by firing hypersonic missiles and even having their radars and launchers installed on ships, greatly increasing the system's mobility and versatility.
