With the improvement in the indicators of the pandemic, thanks to immunization, several companies in Brazil and in the world start to bring back to work people who had been removed because of the pandemic.

Emirates is already experiencing a strong return to its operations, with some routes such as Russia, Greece, Thailand and Malta registering up to 100% occupancy. The company has recently brought back most of its Boeing 777 pilots. The company is expected to do the same thing with 70 to 100 Airbus A380 pilots and co-pilots who have taken unpaid leave.
With the summer of countries in the northern hemisphere and the reduction of restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the expectation is that demand will increase even more.

"We are limited in the number of pilots and the number of training sessions we can do in our simulator. We are very cautious and closely monitoring the performance of these routes. If there are no major changes in protocols, we will continue to grow," said Adel Al Redha, director of operations at Emirates.

“With regard to our A380 pilots, we will start to increase numbers as we put more aircraft into operation. We are limited in the number of training sessions we can run on our simulator, but we are currently working to bring in between 70 to 100 pilots. a month".
