Cirrus has updated the SF50 Vision Jet single engine jet. The gains for the model were in performance and in its Wi-Fi connectivity system with Gogo's Avance L3 system. The purpose of the changes is to increase the aircraft's operational capacity.

The latest version, called the Vision Jet G2 , had its performance increased thanks to the use of Williams International's FJ33-5A engine. The engine generates 1,846 pounds of thrust and has been optimized to deliver up to 20% more take-off performance over its previous model. The improvement in performance ensures greater reach, load capacity and greater safety in operations, such as operations on shorter runways, with a reduction of up to 20% in take-off and landing distances.

The new Wi-Fi system, in turn, ensures fast connectivity on the most reliable network for operation. The system keeps passengers connected without the need to interrupt personal activities. The plane also has USB-C ports for modern devices.

“The vision Jet G2 is the next step in the continuous transformation of personal aviation [...] The improvement in takeoff performance and the implementation of Wi-Fi on board show Cirrus Aircraft's concern to constantly meet the emerging demands of customers ”, said Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus.

New exterior paint options have been added. With the changes, the jet costs $2.98 million. Deliveries of the Vision Jet G2 Plus are scheduled to begin in August 2021.
