Gulfstream G700 makes history by breaking 2 records

In addition to being the world's largest business jet, the Gulfstream G700 now holds a double speed record. In the first flight, which was the first commercial flight of the plane, between Savannah (USA) and Doha (Qatar), 12428 kilometers away, the plane registered a speed of Mach 0.88 (1086 km/h).
The second record happened in a flight between Doha (Qatar) and Paris (France), in a flight that lasted 6 hours and 15 minutes. 5469 kilometers separate the cities, which means that the average speed was Mach 0.90 (1110) km/h.
The plane achieved yet another feat, as it used SAF (fuels derived from renewable sources), which will help companies acquire performance data using ecologically correct fuels.
Compared to the Gulfstream G650, the G700 is larger and has more range, as well as a different interior configuration, and is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl engines with a maximum range of 1500 nautical miles (13890 km) at Mach 0.85
The aircraft's first customer will be the Qatar Airways Group, with the aircraft's first unit costing approximately $78 million. The Qatar group already has more Gulfstream aircraft in its fleet.
