Bombardier Introduces New Challenger 3500 Super Medium Business Jet

On Tuesday (14), Bombardier presented its new super-medium executive jet, with innovations that should make it one of the best in its category. The sustainable design plane is an evolution of the Challenger platform. This is the evolution of the Challenger 350.
According to Bombardier, the plane brings new technologies such as a voice-controlled cabin to manage temperature, lighting and entertainment systems, with a standard autothrottle system, four cockpit screens, synthetic vision and a dual flight management system. There is also a Head-up Display (HUD) with the EVS (Enhanced Vision System) cockpit option.
In addition, the plane will have wireless chargers throughout the cabin and the only 24-inch 4K monitors in the category.
The Challenger 3500 will have a maximum range of 3400 nautical miles, will be able to carry up to 10 passengers and will have a maximum speed of Mach 0.83. In addition, the aircraft's sustainability plan is designed by World Fuel Services, so that part of the fuel used in the test flights will be SAF (sustainable aviation fuel). The idea is to use carbon offsetting to offset all emissions.
The plane is expected to enter service during the second half of 2022.
