The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) continues to make the aviation process in Brazil simpler. The institution revised Supplementary Instruction (IS) No. 91-008 and simplified some items.

IS, which handles the procedures for conducting air events, now reduces the request requirement to 30 days in advance (previously it was 60 days). The change aims to streamline the authorization process.

Another change concerns the glider championships, where the rule removes the requirement of authorization for events of this type. However, pilots of this type of aircraft are certified to maintain safety.

However, ANAC prohibits acrobatics over areas that have agglomerations of people, inhabited areas, prohibited or restricted, in order to maintain safety.

The issuance of notice to mariners (NOTAM) for the event must be requested and issued by the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA).

The information contained in this text is from Anac.
