The agreement signed between Embraer and Netjets provides for up to 100 additional units of the Phenom 300E executive jet. NetJets is expected to begin receiving the planes in the second quarter of 2023, with the beginning of operations in the United States and Europe. The current deal totals more than 1.2 billion dollars.
NetJets recently received aircraft of this model, thanks to an agreement made back in 2010, with 50 firm orders and 75 more purchase options. As the demand for flight is now growing again, NetJets chose to buy more planes of this model, which are preferred among its customers.
“We are pleased to have signed this significant agreement with NetJets, a strategic partner that has been an important part of Embraer's success for more than a decade,” said Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets.
The Phenom 300 is the best-selling light-class jet for nine years running, the Phenom 300 is a small, powerful plane with Pratt engines.
