The Airbus A319neo is not as famous as the other variants in the family, such as the A320neo and A321neo, but an unnamed European customer acquired the jet on Wednesday, July 6, from Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ).

The undisclosed customer will have their corporate jet managed by Jet Aviation and must take charter flights. The aircraft was powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.

In 2019, the ACJ319neo performed a test flight of just over 16 hours. Benoit Defforge, President of Airbus Corporate Jets, said: “The aircraft’s latest technology engines and Sharklets enable even longer intercontinental flights in the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky, providing at least 20% fuel savings and excellent economy. combined with a robust 99.9% operational reliability”.

The A320neo family already has more than 2,200 aircraft in companies around the world. ACJ alone has delivered more than 210 jets and more than 1800 helicopters for private and executive aviation.
