Eve Air Mobility signed a letter of intent (LoI) with FlyBIS Aviation Limited, an air mobility startup for cooperation in the development in Brazil and South America of an operations environment for the eVTOL. In addition, the company will purchase up to 40 units of the new electric vehicle.
“The partnership with FlyBIS will make it possible to expand the future of air mobility to the South Region of Brazil and to other countries in South America”, says André Stein, co-CEO of Eve. “The region has many tourist areas with intense traffic, which will benefit from eVTOL operations, reinforcing our commitment to fostering the urban air mobility market in different regions of the world.”
Fly-BIS intends to expand its operations to other neighboring countries in South America, supporting the development, implementation and operations of urban air mobility.
“Our team is very motivated and confident, working to change urban air mobility for future generations, providing a more accessible and cleaner experience,” said Fly-BIS co-founder and CEO, Gustavo Zanettini.
Eve already has an order backlog for up to 2770 eVTOL units.
