Patterson has more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience. The executive has already worked at Airbus and at Certified Aviation Services.
“We are in a great moment in the region. The E175 is a leader in its segment, and the E2 is proving to be a huge success for Porter Airlines, the launch customer in North America, with 50 E2s close to being added to its fleet. Nigel has a successful track record and local knowledge. He is an invaluable professional to our team, and with his outstanding leadership, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering excellence and value to our customers in North America,” adds Holmes.
Patterson takes over as Vice President, North America Commercial and Marketing from Mark Neely, who in turn has been appointed Vice President, Global Freighter at Embraer Commercial Aviation, Neely will also report to Martyn Holmes, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Embraer Commercial Aviation.
“Mark's appointment to this new role is a strategic move, in line with our focus on growing our nascent Passenger to Freighter (P2F) conversions business,” said Martyn Holmes, CCO of Embraer Commercial Aviation. “I am very pleased with Mark's leadership in an exciting period of growth in the segment. His broad experience, vision and dedication will make a significant impact.”
